Why we started Cole Insure
Medicare is confusing, and people deserve someone they can call when a bill or a letter shows up, not just at sign-up time. That is the kind of help we wanted to give.
Carl Cole and Mathew Leyva started Cole Insure so people could get honest Medicare help from someone local who answers the phone, before enrollment and every year after. That is still how we work. Our licensed agents live and work in the Kansas City area.
How we work
- We are independent. No insurance company owns us. We compare plans from many companies and show you what fits.
- We teach first. You should understand your choices before you sign anything. Ask as many questions as you like.
- It is free. There is never a fee for our help, and the price of a plan is the same with or without us.
- We stay with you. Every year before the fall enrollment period, we check that your plan still covers your doctors and medicines.
Call us first. Before you change a plan, sign anything from a TV ad, or answer a call from someone you do not know, call us. We will tell you what the change would really mean for you.
The insurance companies we work with
We are appointed with many of the major Medicare insurance companies. Which plans are available depends on your ZIP code, so we will tell you exactly which companies and plans we can offer where you live.
Who we help
We help people turning 65, people leaving a job and its health plan, veterans and their families, people helping a parent with Medicare, and anyone who wants a second look at the plan they have now. We are based in Kansas City and also help people in many other states by phone and video.
